Deer Tag Reporting Information

Thank you for purchasing a 2019 Deer Tag. All 2019 deer seasons are now closed and hunters should submit their harvest reports. Every deer tag holder must report their tag by Jan. 31, 2020, even if they did not hunt or did not harvest a deer. Our records indicate you have an unreported tag for the 2019 season. Harvest reports can be submitted online, or by mail to the address printed on the tag.

Tag holders who do not report by the deadline will be charged a non-reporting fee of $21.60 (added to their first deer tag/application purchase for the 2020-21 season).

You can report your harvest online now or mail your report card to CDFW at:

CDFW Wildlife Branch
P.O. Box 944209
Sacramento, CA 94244-2090

The information you provide helps CDFW biologists estimate deer populations and make decisions on season dates, harvest quotas and new hunting opportunities. For more information on deer management, please visit

The revenue generated from your hunting license and deer tag purchase is an important source of conservation funding for California’s deer herds. CDFW thanks you for your continued support of our state’s wildlife resources.

If you have recently mailed in your deer report, please disregard this reminder.

Log in here. I see we have to report pigs now too
