I tell ya , they need to make a "B" line to Red Road, drive to the end and park at the parking lot there. Hopefully the herd hasnt moved to their usual hiding spot by the time 3rd period has come. The fish n game guys will tell you where it is.
Start there, hunt east and dont let the herd move west

Never been elk hunting, but I go rabbit hunting out at Grizzly every year. I don't think you will have much trouble spotting the elk. I see them almost every year from the road. But, who knows how they will act once the hunting pressure is on. Good Luck!
