Has anyone hunted Cache Creek with success? If so where and how? Where them dam pigs at? Hunted Indian Valley and walked 2 1/2 hours and made it .85 miles on the GPS.... It's a little thick with no pigs. Thanks for any info

Everybody I've talked to says that unless you get real lucky and trip over 'em as they're passing through, you can pretty much forget it over there. The hogs must be somewhere around there, and I'm sure somebody has a honeyhole or two, but they ain't tellin' (and I don't blame them).

Good luck!

Oh trust me Speck...if someone's going to be tripin' over the hogs it'll be LureDiver. I've seen him slid/fall down every hill between lake sonoma & indian valley res. We (Lurediver & myself) might give Indian Valley another go & if nothing else, try to call a yote or two in. If anyone has a honey hole up there, don't hesitate to tell us...we'll keep it a secret.

OK Arrowslinger.. now you're just confusing me. (Yeah, like that's hard to do.)

Wish I had something good to pass on, but I heard so many negatives about that place that it's kept me away. Might be worth trying to find a deer or turkey there, but word on the pigs ain't real positive.

Speck.....->Lurediver and myself work at the same place, so i mistakenly used the same computer that he did & logged on under his name...anyway, figured we'd give cache creek a try this weekend....with turkey season around the corner, i'll be looking for some long beards & roosts as well.

I've hunted that range high and low, from wilson valley, rocky creek, judge Davis Canyon, indian valley Rev and more, (Pillsberry Lake, Knoxville Berryessia Public Land, ect). The only good pigs are near the foothills in Williams, Capay Valley, and along Hwy 16, with some in between Clear Lake and the Knowville Berryessia Public Land. Make some friends near the Brooks Casino or with locals in the Clear Lake area. Dogs are the best way to find pigs on public lands in that area. I've even done the loop on Bear Valley Road. I've got Trukey, Coyote, Deer, Jacks, Squarils, Bobcats, Quail, Catfish and Bass from CC. I've also seen lots of elk and seen lots of bear sign.

Good Luck.
