Califronia Guided Hog Hunt

Hello Fellow Hunters,

This is my first post here. I need some recommendations on a good place to get a quality hog hunt in California. I've come home empty handed for quite a few trips now and I'd like to put an end to that. I was hoping to keep it around $400 and in Northern to Central California if possible (I'm in Northern California). I've gotten recommendations for Easterbrook Ranch and Tom Willoughby, any others I should look into? What are their success rates? I want a good hunting experience, but getting something to put on the wall is my ultimate goal (and "wallhanger" is very vague in my book). I appreciate the help.

I know the Easterbrook operation and its a good hunt from what I heard, just a small ranch in parkfield. I have been with Tom and he has access to some GREAT ranches with a TON of wildlife. My last trip with him we saw 60 elk when we were hunting hogs, it was an awesome site to say the least. Look at Mustang Guide Service. A guy by the name of Frank Mosaci runs that operation and I have gone with him on a bunch of trips. He's fair, $400.00 straight up and will hunt any style you want. Just remember one thing. Be upfront and tell them how you want to hunt. Most guides want a happy client, so they will go out of there way to make you happy. I have NEVER gone with Frank and not seen less than 50 hogs in one day. Its simply amazing... Good luck with your search.

I agree with Zippy... Kyler from Boaring experiences is a great guide. Me and my dad went with him about 4 or 5 months ago and we are about to book another hunt with him soon.. GL nofear
