Camp Roberts current rules on training areas????

The last time I was at CR was around 3 years ago. As I remember we could hunt on all the open training areas on the west side of FWY 101. What are the current rules now on accessing those training areas??? What about the east side of FWY 101??

i was there back in august and the east side was all open but on the west side a few areas were closed i can't remember exactly which areas but i believe most of 2 and 3 are open. A large portion is closed due to construction. Think i still have the map in the jeep ill post again later

You need to call the base to see what is open and what is not, especially if traveling from afar.

Unless the Nat. Guard closes the garrison, there is a half mile or so buffer zone around the pipeline area. Otherwise the rest of the base is available.

The rains have made many normal dirt roads impassible. I almost got stuck on a dirt road I have traveled many times this last weekend. 3 rigs were stuck this last hunt.
