el hunter,
Congratulations!! That is a big, healthy hog. Even dead and lying on it's side.........it is round and barrel chested. Very healthy and big hog. I am guessing over 250 lbs. live weight......over 180 lbs. cleaned up and gutted. Must be over 100 lbs. of usable meat from that hog. Very, very nice healthy hog.
Thanks for posting....it is always a joy to see pictures of successful, happy hunters.
God Bless, always

Gratz! I was there Saturday morning and i was walking down a road to a nice spot for glassing..and my cousin scared a group of really nice pigs and they were running across the road behind me (had a feeling something was behind me) turned around about a group of 8 really nice sized pigs high tailing across the road. 1 stopped and i let one fly but missed =\ 100 yard shot, could be the same pigs you guys ran into! Good shooting!

Nice fatty. What's the record for weight at Camp Bob? It's not much over 300 lbs for FHL. 299 is the heaviest I've seen at FHL.

I dont know what the biggest hog is at camp bob. I know my hog was even bigger than this one. the hog i got a couple of years ago it weighed 260 gutted out. but i dont know if there was a bigger hog taken out of there all i know is that they were heck of heavy trying to put them in the back of a truck lol....there's some monsters out there i was seeing about 40 a day at roberts but they stay in private land and didnt cross. spotting scopes do wonders.

I always get annual permit for both bases every year. Due to the new regulation FHL added this year and the idea of making the better hunting areas "archery, crossbow, and muzzleloaders only, I'm really thinking twice about FHL for next year. I think lots of people are thinking the same thing.
