This camea is way out of my price range. It ought to be a dandy though. Here is a link to Steves Digicams and his review on this camera. Looks real nice

I have one and like it alot. I guess my only issue with it would be the slow focus and difficulty locking on to something in low light. Other than that, it is fine.

How much are they asking for it?

Eric--$400.00-body only--I have an Elan 7E, so I've got two lenses that will fit--he's still trying to decide if he wants to sell it.

That seems like about the price range they are going. Does it come with all the accessories? Also, do you know how many shots he has taken with it? The shutters are lasting to about 20k (I have about 11,000 on mine so far). Hopefully a battery grip too, they are a great addition.

What lenses do you have?

Eric, it comes with the manual, software, battery, NO Battery grip. I've got a Sigma 28-80 and 70-300 from my Elan 7E. I like your pixs--where is the ghost town located?

Hey Martin,

That is Rhyolite, Nevada. One of the most photographed Ghost Towns out there, but one of the coolest!

One thing to remember when you hop to a digital SLR, you will need to learn Photoshop. The basics will do it for you to begin with (unsharp mask, contrast, saturation, etc), but you will need to learn a bit more to get your "digital darkroom" to produce quality end product from your shots. This is not to say the shots are not good to begin with, it's just that unlike point and shoot digital cameras, the software allows you to have the control over what your shots should look like when fully processed.
