Carl Zeiss Sports Optics Introduces CONQUEST 56 mm Binoculars

CHESTER, VIRGINIA - The ever popular ZEISS Conquest line now includes two new binoculars designed for outstanding performance in low light - the 8x56 T* and 10x56 T*. Lightweight and easy to use, these binoculars excel in twilight conditions and are ideal for those who want mechanical robustness and excellent image quality at an attractive price/performance ratio.
The 56 mm Conquests set new standards for brightness, image quality and weight in their class. Specifically designed for use in low light, both models deliver a bright, crisp image thanks to the ZEISS T* multi-coating on all glass-to-air surfaces, the Abbe-König prism system with phase-correction coating and four-element eyepieces and objective lenses. Both models weigh 33.5 ounces and have wide fields of view - 360 ft. at 1,000 yards with the 8x56 T* and 344 ft. at 1,000 yards with the 10x56 T* -- and a close focus of 13.1 ft.
The Conquests 56 mm's were engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions and designed for
durability and lasting value. The robust glass-fiber reinforced polyamide housing is protected against impacts by the shock-absorbing, easy to clean, rubber. These binoculars are comfortable to hold and can be quickly and precisely focused via the center focus wheel. Rotating, lockable eyecups ensure easy viewing with or without glasses. As with all ZEISS binoculars, the new Conquest models are dust and waterproof, and nitrogen filled to prevent internal fogging. Compact in length for their size, the Conquest 56 mm binoculars deliver exceptional optical quality at an unparalleled price/performance ratio.
Accessories
The new Conquest binoculars come with a cordura bag, a neoprene strap and eyepiece covers. Additional accessories that can be ordered include an air-cell comfort carrying strap (recommended for periods of long use), objective lens caps and tripod. With the small ZEISS 3x12 B monocular, an adaptor ring and the Binoflex binocular holder, the Conquest models can also be used on a tripod as an extremely compact spotting scope with 24x or 30x magnification.
