Carrizo Area for Pigs

I am going to drive up to Carrizo and scout for pigs on Sat..  Could anyone give me some info on where to start looking.  Iam not looking for anyone secret area just an area to get started.  Also does anyone know where I can get a map of that area that shows the boundaries of private and public land.

the blm has a map you can buy over the phone from their office (I think I called bakersfield to get mine). If you do order it, get the packet that has maps to all of their parcels. most of those areas in the central coast hold pigs from time to time.

also talk to the people at the Goodwin(?) Center out on the plain. They are usually pretty helpful.

check out behind the education center. i have seen a few out there in the past couple weeks
