On our annual fishing trip, that just got cancelled because of the pandemic, we normally catch between 5 & 6 hundred crawdads in a week. It is everything 15 guys can do to consume them over the week. Every evening we have a boil and a few coolies. All you can eat, as seen in the above foto!! And a few to take home!
I am here too-keep your saddle. I am a Louisiana Native, and in the Spring when the creeks and sloughs are high and running, the crawfish will "migrate" between the small bodies of water once the levels start falling. They are so thick, when crossing the swamp roads they look like an army of ants. Once, six of us filled up a pickup truck bed with migrating crawfish, and they were still coming. That was a crawfish boil to remember!
