Central Texas hunt wanted!

Hello, I have never been on a hog hunt and can't stand waiting. Is there anyone here in the Central Texas, San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcus, Seguin areas that needs a hunting partner? I just bought a new 4x4 ATV and have a 30-30 w/scope...that needs to get it's first hog kill. Email me at msims@satx.rr.com

My first hog hunt is in the morning, only 24hrs away!!! My daughter and I are hunting a 2000acres ranch south of San Antonio. I will post some pics of our weekend when we return. Any last minute tips?

Mike... Be sure to let us know how it turns out.. Are you going to be hunting rifle or bow??? At any rate, make sure to place your shot as best you can.. I have lost 2 over the past couple of years due to bad shot placement... They are unbelievable tuff animals....

Thanks for the info. We are going to use a rifle. Marlin 30-30, scoped. My daughter is taking a .22 to plink around, maybe some rabbits. We will be down there at 10am until late night.....I'll have my camera with me for some pics...hopefully of a taken hog...

Mike, where did you go hunt in Texas. I hunted in Brownfield, Texas, paid 100 dollars for one day, shot 2 pigs, but that is about it. Where did you go hunt, and did you bag anything.
Have you looked in e-bay, there are alot of cheap deals for pig hunting and I think all of them are in Texas. This is where I found out about this ranch in Brownfield (close to Lubbock).
