Anyone interested in putting together a group for a hunt at Birds and Boars (Chopper's
Place).....? Sooner the better, I'm jonesin' for a bow hunt in a BIG way !!

Scottosan (and others), anytime is ok with me. Some here would like to go after deer season, but I'm up for going anytime. Chopper usually wants 5 or 6 paid hunters to make a reservation. Anyone have a preference....?

Hey Wild1, just a suggestion.

Definitely the best route for setting up a hunt like this is to get with Chopper, pick a date, and then let folks know when it is.

If you try to coordinate a date that works with 6 or 8 different people before you book a weekend, you're destined for frustration.

Anyway, it's only my two cents, but I doubt you'll have any trouble filling the hunt if you go ahead and get a weekend locked in. Folks on here obviously love hunting there.

Speck, does that mean you're in....? Good suggestion though - I suppose someone will have to call Chopper and reserve a weekend.

Wish I could.

My time and budget are definitely not gonna let me do a hunt at Chopper's any time for the rest of this year, and it's looking doubtful for next year too (I say that every year, and end up hunting there anyway
