RGS Fundraiser Fun Shoot Right on Target

Proceeds used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat
The Maryland Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will hold a Clay Target Fun Shoot and Lunch at Tuscarora Gun Club, MD Route 28, Point of Rocks, Maryland, on Saturday, July 12, from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.
According to Terry Oland, the entry fee for this 50-target 16-yard event and lunch is $20 ($10 for non shooters). Shoot is limited to the first 50 entries, and registrations should be in by June 30th. Eye and ear protection is mandatory, and low brass in 7 1/2, 8 or 9 shot is required. Prizes will be awarded in four divisions: High Overall Shooter, Top Youth, High Male and High Female.

Established in 1961, the Ruffed Grouse Society is the one international wildlife conservation organization dedicated to promoting conditions suitable for ruffed grouse, American woodcock and related wildlife to sustain our sport hunting tradition and outdoor heritage.
