Yippie! I got drawn for cow elk 2nd rifle season in unit 61 using 1 point. Sweeet! Only consolation is my Co resident friend got drawn for 1st rifle bull in 61, he dumped 11 points to get the tag. He was supposed to apply for 2nd season but changed his mind at the last minute. Looks like I'll be shutting down the lab for two weeks this year, small consolation. Because this trip is going to be more expensive with the business shut down, any help in this premium unit will be appreciated. We have a fair amount of knowledge for unit 62 but not much on 61. Not looking to invade one's honey hole just a good area to find some quality elk. Last year we scouted the Tabeguache Basin and around Wolf Hill. Heard some bugles but weren't able to see anything, pretty thick in the Basin. Anything in the southern area of this unit?
