Well, after many years of hunting Colorado, I was lucky enough to tag out on this bull on opening day of the second season combo deer/elk hunt. He was cross canyon from me, about 600 yards, when I saw him with a couple of cows making his way down from the top. This old bugger played cat and mouse with me for over 3 hours. He never presented me with a shot, until finally he came out straight across the canyon at 245 yards staring right at me. That's when I put one right down the boiler room! He never took another step and dropped in his tracks! The 180 grain TSX bullet has never failed me! It took me and my three buddies the rest of the day to get him out. My two other buddies tagged out on two nice 4x3 mule deer. The wide one was 24 3/4 inside spread. We had a pretty good year considering we had only one day of snow and the rest was blue bird.
