Colorado GMU #22

My first time drawing elk in Colorado (or anywhere for that matter). I am looking forward to hunting elk this year and hopefully getting my first (cow) elk. Anyone have any insight that they are willing to share for Colorado GMU #22? I will be arriving a few days early and be there for the entire season. Thank you in advance.

Lots of drilling going on in that area. Areas we used to hunt are now highways. Best of luck to you

Lots of drilling for sure. I chased elk in there once. Saw sign in the Piceance Creek (pronounced "pee-ants" by the locals) area and also Yellow Creek. Good luck!
