i,ll be hunting out of craig, first season,.not sure what unit.. as this is my
first trip to colorado since the early 90,s.. i cant afford it either..but "IF ITS BROWN,

Hatchet, I'll be hunting sorta near CO Springs, south of Victor. Around GMU 59. Can't miss too much school, so I'll have 4-5 days of DIY bowhunting!

For me just seeing some elk will be a great acheivement! I will be taking my new longbow, so any elk over 20 yards from me has nothing to fear :lol bashing sign::archer green:

Southwest CO - got my general archery elk tag and an archery deer tag as well. Hunted there last year for a week and saw exactly two elk but one was a 280 bull that got into a bugle-off with my brother while I circled in on him and cut him off with a 40 yard muzzy into the boiler room. I can't wait to get back there.
