I was hoping someone out there has had some experience with unit 74 in S.W. Colorado. I'm headed there next week for the second hunt with a friend and have never been there before. I was planning on archery hunting there during sept. but I had to change my plans. I plan on camping somewhere around relay creek and hunting west of purgatory anywhere from tin can basin/bolam pass down the hermosa drainage and from hwy 550 to hwy 145. All my plans I have were for archery season and I was just hoping that the elk would still be using this area during the second hunt.
