Colorado wilderness areas

Can anyone tell me which ones get the most use during archery elk season?

We're planning our first trip to Colorado this fall and I wasn to avoid the more popular places.

OK, lets try being more specific.

What about the West Elk Wilderness Area?

Anybody hunted it?

Does it get alot of pressure?

Never hunted in the wilderness area's, but I do Grouse hunt in GMU #4 which is a very popular Elk area and hunting pressure is pretty light during Archery season, but if you want to talk rifle season thats a whole different monster.

Since I made this post we have decided to hunt Unit 77 in Southwest Colorado.

We decided to hunt there mostly because we found a cabin that we can rent that supposedly borders the San Juan National Forest.
