I just bought my wife the Canon S1 IS for Christmas ,along with an Epson R300 printer for her photos. Can anyone tell me the cheapest place to buy Compactflash cards? I'm looking for some of the faster ones,if that matters. If anyone here has some for sale reasonably let me know ....Thanks

The cheapest place? I'd like to know too. E-bay may be your best bet.
I just ordered a 512Mb Ultra II Compactflash card for $52 from E-Bay. I couldn't wait for a really good deal because my D70 was on it's way. They seem to be a popular purchase on E-bay.

Scotty, I bought the same one from Best Buy the other day. Not sure the exact name of it, SanSoft or something along those lines. Works great with my Stealth Cam.

Compuplus and zipzoomfly seem to have good prices. From what I've read, stick with Lexar or Sandisk.
James----Sandisk. This is my first time using CompactFlash cards. I use Memory Stick in my Sony P32 trailcam and my new D70 takes Compactflash.
Why can't they all use the same memory type...
