This one was one of my favorites.. a very powerful image.

Wow, I really did not expect to win (thanks guys), everyones pictures were great and the participation was outstanding too! I hope as many, or more people contribute to the next contest

Lan-Lord, I don't have a clue about what the subject for the next contest should be, some suggestions would be great.

CK, congrats on the win!! I think the feeling you captured is what really made the shot, and you got my vote.

As for themes I think roads is a great idea!

I'd be intersted in the story or your thoughts behind that photo. Was it just a snapshot in passing? did you know the fisherman? or did you see something greater that you wanted to capture with the camera?

Chris, that is the one of picture's that I actually went out and took just for the contest, the other two I posted were already saved on my computer. That guy is fishing in the Oswego river for salmon just below a "lock" dam. I do not know him, but later I heard that he, along with a couple of his friends had to be rescued out of the river because of rising water. The area they were fishing in is great for taking pictures.
