Thanks all for the votes and kind words. I really thought I didn't have a chance between Lan-Lords creek and TNhunters turkey. Those were some amazing shots, and the colors were great. Can't wait til this months photo contest begins.

IMO, yours didn't seem as staged and planned out. It seemed like you were out walking and saw a perfect opportunity for a pic...and composed it well. Good pics.

Good listing Zach... photo contests are going to start getting creative and more diverse as we go further along.. I emailed with Ride9, and this month's contest is going to have the theme of "water".. so start thinking, shooting, or digging through your archives for photos that have a water theme. I will start up the official entry and rules thread here shortly.
