SALEM–The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will hold a public auction of various used vehicles and equipment on Saturday, as planned.
Conservation Department officials report receiving several inquiries about whether the auction would be affected by the continuing shutdown of federal government operations. Since the Conservation Department is a state agency, its activities are unaffected by the federal shutdown.
