Conservation Group to Hold Family Picnic


The Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will hold its second free annual Family Picnic on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Ringneck Ridge Hunting Preserve, 1479 Coburn Hill Road, Laceyville, Pennsylvania, beginning with a rendezvous at the Lodge at 10:30 a.m.

According to Brian Clark, there will be plenty of fun, food and games as activities include, swimming, fishing, nature walks, and clay bird shooting. Open to the public, the only requirement is that you bring a covered dish, beverage or snack to share, as well as a few extra folding chairs.
