Hey guys, my name's Brandon Twite and I live in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I'm a junior in high school and looking @ colleges. The Washington University in St Louis keeps bothering me telling me to go there. I have a scholarship already to the University of Arizona, but the hunting here sucks (specially for a kid that spent most of his life in Montana). So what's the hunting like out there... convince me guys.
Thanks

Sorry ~ there are no more deer in Missouri, since we had a record harvest opening weekend...

Just kiddin'...

If you're looking at Missouri, because you're interested in hunting whitetails ~ you won't be disappointed!

WashU is an excellent school, but with a very liberal base. Hunting in Missouri is good. Lots of public land. Lots of deer statewide, big'uns up north. Be glad to have a misplaced Montana lad in the Show-Me State.

Thanks for the input guys... How many deer can you take a year, I hunt with both bow and rifle? Here in AZ you can only take one, and the whitetails average around 115 pounds.
Oh yeah, what kind of feral hog population do you have?

Brandon--If you can afford to, WashU is a great school. So is Mizzou, UMSL, UMKC, and SMSU depending on your program.
In MO you can just about take as many as you want to pay for, and with tags being cheap, thats more than one person neads by far.
A good doe will go 150+ live and a buck will approach and break 200+ when fully mature.
This year my doe was about 175# and my dads buck was over 200.....
