Cooler weather cheers duck hunters

The arrival of colder weather couldn’t have come at a better time for duck hunters in northern Missouri . Just a week ago, the outlook for Saturday’s duck opener in the North Zone wasn’t good. A prolonged stretch of mild weather had most of the ducks basking in the warmth of Canada and the northern states, far from mid-America.
