Looking for a good outfitter that has a late season cow only hunt. Any input from those who have hunted with someone would be great. Thanks in advance.

Triple Three Outfitters in Wyoming has a late season cow elk hunt. I didn't hunt elk with them, but I did hunt deer and they were great. The price for the cow elk was middle of the road last time I checked. A whitetail buck could be added for a very reasonable price. I know it is not the info you are looking for, but it is a place to start. I would recomend them highly from my experience. Good luck

The Indian Reservations offer some good deals--they line you up with a local guide from $100-$200/day. It usually only takes a day or two to get your cow on the UTE or Jicarilla reservations. There are several reservations in NM, AZ, and UT that offer such deals.

Thanks for the info. Why do I need an outfitter? Just keeping all my options open. This hunt is not for me but for my friend, his grandson and my youngest son. None of them have been elk hunting before and I thought this would be a good way to get them started.
