With a chance at pigs anytime I'm calling a few ranches I wanted a little more punch than the ole reliable 22-250. Enter my new addition, a weatherby vanguard 6.5 creedmoor topped with a Leopold vx5 cds scope. First dog to offer a shot was broadside at a range of 256 yrds. One shot and that's all she wrote. Very happy with the results and to top it off 10 minutes later at 120 yrds a well placed shot behind the left ear put my first hog down with the new smoke pole..very happy with my choice..:smiley-mouse::smiley-mouse::patiotic-wavin-flag

Hey Brother, whose product are you sporting for your Bino harness there?

Also, is that an after-market stick-on applique type of deal you used to camo-up your rifle?

PS... it's soo awsome when luck smiles on you with a new piece of hardware!

Badlands for the bino case and I bought the rifle as is. It's a production run weatherby does on some rifles with different camo patterns..wanted kryptek like I'm wearing but couldn't find it available so this one was second choice..very happy with it though..
