I am looking at buying a olimpus D-380 but don't know verry much about digitals . It is a 2 megapixal . I am jest wondering how the picture quality will be for posting pics on the internet whitch it will be used for most . Would there be much diference in picture qwality on the internet say betwean a 2 megapixal and a 3-4 or 5 megapixal . I have had salsman tell me that your computer monitor will onely display so meny colors so if you bey a 3- 4 or 5 megapixals camera it would be overkill as far as internet picture quality . I thot I would check it out with some of you guys that know alot more about this than I do . Thanks alot in advance

You only need 1.3mp for Internet viewing on the monitor. Also fine for small prints. Walmart had one advertized on their website the other day for $98, and that had a 2x zoom. 2mp with a quality lens will print up to 8x10. Walmart will print your pics for 26 cents for 4x6 at the stores or by internet and snail mail. WB
