d8 pigs

I'll be bear hunting in d8 this year and was wondering if there is any pigs in d8.

Yes, in most areas I can think of in the lower eleevations. I don't know about higher elevations. But I have seen pigs in the same areas I have hunted bears

yeah they are there. i have seen them up to 4,500 feet elevation.

All the years hunting d8 Ive never seen pigs or sign , but we hunt up high thou. My buddy lives in d7 u[p by shaver lake above d8 and they have pigs tearing yards up .

there are lots of pigs in d8. problem is most of them are lower elevations and not in the national forest (private ground). i'm sure there are some in the forest, but nothing compared to the numbers in the lower foothills.

I hunt D8 for pigs, dont know what elevation you will be hunting but Bears are mostly found in high country where pigs are not found and most public land are too high in elevation. Hunted D8 and never heard of Johnsondale I need road name and then I might have answers for you

VHRAM, any chance on your buddy giving us the opportunity to hunt his land? I've never heard of pigs being up that high by shaver lake.....but hey, anything is possible.

johnsondale is north of kernville on the north fork of the kern river.

Really nice terrain for hogs but never heard or hunted them there, that area where I am going to bear hunt too, alot of bears, had one 10 yards away but couldnt get a good shot acouple of days ago.
