DC powerplug?

I used the diagram on Jesse's page for the DC power plug.  RS274-1565a and 274-1568c. (illustrator drawing)

One of these is actually a power jack.  What I want is the male and female end to go only on the wire.  Beside these two part numbers do not fit together perfectly.  The shaft is too long for the jack.

Thanks for any advice

It really doesn't matter what the part number is, just get a matching set.  If you are shorting 5 and 6 at the camera then use MONO plugs. If you want the auto focus to work then use mini stereo plugs. Male and female plugs of course. The stereo plugs have three soldering tabs so you can make the bridge after the plug.  EVERYTHING is in Jesse's layout.  There may be a model number slightly off here and there who knows.
