deer hunting season

i was curious if anyone here has hunted California zones A north and south and where are the good/decent spots. i live in the bay area but would like to hunt somewhere near here for some deer/turkey. has anyone hunted around this zone? i know D-6 is popular but what about zone A being the season is right around the corner. thanks!!

Cache Creek is s good place to hunt. I'd suggest getting a BLM map so you have a good idea of the area. Also be prepared to hike in a god distance if you want to get where the feet are abs the people aren't.
