If you were lucky enough to get drawn for a ressie, today may be the day you receive it. I urge each and every one of you to put heavy guard on those mailboxes. Good Luck!

Don't need no stinking reservation!

My blind is waiting for me and me alone.

I'll put my dekes out the evening of the 12th.

Wake up an hour before shooting time, drive 15 minutes, and be sitting in my blind 20 minutes before shooting time.

There were 2 - 3 thousand ducks sitting on my pond yesterday morning. Seven of them got my name on them.

In 15 years, I've never pulled a ressie for opening day.

Don't let the Jaybird bother ya.

In 6 years of hunting the salt ponds we took limits once. No matter how many birds you see now they will be ten miles high five minutes after shoot time. So ya better hope for a ressie Jaybird.

Or even better hope for some weather. Then I'll even drive down there, hop the fence and see ya in the blind.

Without weather your in for a Spoon or two and your Sprig.
