DFG Pig Hunt December 11-12

I got chosen for the December 11-12 DFG Pig Hunt-Chimineas area! Did anyone else get chosen? Any tips? Thanks DFG!

That is a lie, there are no wild pigs in the Chimineas area..... ask anyone that's been there.

Yea, I did some research on forums about Chimineas area.... looks very grim... not sure if it's worth the drive

well if you dont get a pig you can go for quail.

I'll go with you, for either pig or quail, or both....if you can take a guest. I can also provide some areas near there as alternatives...places I've been scouting...but the Carizzo Plains area has been hunted a lot. Since we've gotten a lot of rain, the pigs may be coming back off private lands, but it isn't a sure thing...The problem is, there isn't much time to scout the area, if you're coming from a ways off. Hope that helps.
