DFG Survey

Has anyone gotten a DMV survey card in the mail? I got one yesterday and filled it out. It said that through a random drawing participators would receive some published hunting guide. Has anyone ever got one? Just wondering if the guide had much info.

No, got a phone call for a fishing survey from DFG last month.

I got the same DFG survey. I filled it out and sent it off, but do not really care about the hunting guides. I believe it will be the same "HUNTING DEER (or other species) IN CA pamphlet that is basically free at any DFG office.

I got it, but I'm still trying to figure out how you can possibly get drawn since the survey is anonymous. No names, license numbers, return address, no identifying info. Even the barcode they say is there isn't.

Your address and maybe a control number on the survey. A quick database check and they have all the
info they need.

If you read the directions the Survey told you to please place a return mailing address in the place of the scan ticket, since they were not able to put the barcodes on them before they mailed them.

I got one and mailed it in. Figures, after a year of not hardly being able to hunt at all.

I got one and called. They told me to fill in my name and address where the bar code was supposed to be. We'll see what happens.

I got to tell you i was a little "Huh?" with our guys when I reviewed this and we were having a drawing for something we produce freely.... Keep in mind we can no longer give away "SWAG" (Stuff We All Get), these are guides. The contract printer also fubar'ed something when this went out I believe-- maybe what you guys are onto is it? It was about 2,000 emails ago.
