Disappearing post

I'm just trying to put a hunt together with a few guys so we can all save about $100. 3 or more is $400 each, less than 3 is $500 each. I had to narrow it down to one date because my schedule changed.

If what I'm being told is correct, the WHOLE THREAD was pulled because Rick's pics had Hunt101 on the top. I'd like the moderator who pulled the thread to let me know who he or she is. It would have been easy to remove the offensive post without deleting the whole thread. That post was an attempt by one of the members here tying to set up a group hunt. That hunt happened to be with my outfit. As a site sponsor, I am allowed that right. I will ask again who the moderator was that pulled the thread before I take it any further up the food chain.

As an administrator at another site, I usually email a poster to let him or her know why I nuked their post, much less an entire topic. Just common courtesy.

The post was moved for two reasons.

As you said Rick, the mod who moved it should have sent a email why. Removing the pics is the usual thing we do and not removing the whole thread.

The pics had Hunt101 ads on them. They are a well known spammer and not welcome here. Plus you're plugging them for free and theyu make pics look like ads.

2, the pics were too wide. If a pic is over 640 pixels wide the pic gets nuked.

The thread was moved back.
