“Discover Hunting” programs are an ongoing series to help youths and adults learn techniques, regulations and ethics involved with hunting.
WILLIAMSBURG, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites youth to Discover Hunting with a youth dove hunt on Sept. 1 from sunrise – 12 p.m. at Whetstone Creek Conservation Area (CA) in Callaway County. This program is open to youth ages 9 to 15 years and their parents or adult mentors. Youth must be hunter-education certified or accompanied by a hunter-education-certified adult and must attend a mandatory clinic from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 31 at Prairie Fork CA.
