Just wondered what everyone else feels like.

There are some of my pics that I wouldn't mind and others that I'd don't want anyone messing with. Maybe we could state somewhere in the post that people can feel free to edit as long as they give a description of what they did, etc....

What is your opinion?

I don't mind if anyone wants to edit one of my photos for a good reason, for instance... trying to help me learn. I also don't mind any critiques or suggestions.

It wouldn't bother me as long as I knew how it was done and I learned from it and it didn't get posted someplace else for ulterior motives. I am open to constructive criticism on any thing I post, teach me, I want to get better.

Any chance of a PHOTO CRITIQUE thread being pinned here? Constructive criticism is great.

I never really thought about it too much. I guess the only way I would mind is if someone tried to take credit for an image that I took.

I see it as a nice form of flattery. Something about a photo I took piques someone's interest to the point they want to have a go at improving it, then it's fine with me. If they steal it that's a totally different matter.

I wouldnt mind if someone modified a photo of mine. I'm not very good or creative with PS, so anyone's input or attempt would be welcomed.

So can we assume, I hate to use that word, that unless otherwise stated anyone can have a go at some PP on photos?

I'm all up for it.

I agree, usually it is something constructive and a way to learn. I can take photos, but don't know squat about post-processing.....

To me, It depends why it is done???? I welcome any and all constructive critiques of my pics, especially on here where there is such a supportive, helpful attitude..

I personally would not presume to alter anyones pics unless they indicated they wanted help, and I felt that I could contribute something postive to them..
