Do you now have to register AR partials in Ca?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. everyone I ask gives me a different answer. If someone in Ca has an AR completed from an 80% partial lower, do you now have to put a serial # on it and register it?

Yes you will have to serialize it by 2018 I believe, there is a date it has to be done by.

If planning on making the rifle a raw it also has to be an official applied and issued CA DOJ BOF number and done in time to submit the raw application in time. If a fixed mag or featureless config I think you can make your own such as FK-CADOJ-01.
