Dove Hunt and Air Show!

Another slow day of dove hunting yesterday in the valley, about a dozen birds for two of us. The high-point was the two hour air show by the Blue Angels at the El Centro NAF. Those Navy Pilots are unbelievably talented. They sure made up for the marginal hunting.

Love the air shows grew up just to the north of Los Alamitos air base, and got to watch the Practice and air show for 6 or so days. totally awesom !

The Blue Angels have been stationed at El Centro for a few winters, sometimes they fly so low over one of the hot spots you can see the pilots. Definitely keep the Euros from sitting around in the roost trees all day! Pretty awesome when they are laying down smoke. They were also flying their C-130 yesterday.
