I havent come across any sheds yet and have still been seeing bucks that are carrying. I am also unable to get out very often, so I thought it might be helpful if everyone would post about:

-Whether or not they have been finding sheds.....and, if yes, whether they were also seeing bucks still packing.

and

-What State, and what part of the state.

I think it would be helpful for those of us trying to time our few outings carefully, and also interesting to see the timing of shedding in different areas.

Up here the majority of the whitetails have already dropped. The mule deer, are just starting.

Last weekend I saw 3-4 mule bucks still pack'n both sides, but I did find 2 fresh mulies sheds. It's a bit earlier up here this year than the last few.

Most are still carrying here in Maryland, but I've got 7 fresh sheds so far.Another week or two the sheds should start coming off more regular.

Here in western Wisconsin the majority of the bucks are still holding...on monday i watched 4 bucks all still packin both sides. I have managed to find 3 fresh drops but they are far and few between right now. The bug has bit me really bad but it's just a little early here

A lot more than usual have dropped here in Kansas already. Probly 80% of them I'm guessing. We went out to some thick stuff that gets hit pretty hard because it's on public land last weekend, and found three. Two decent ones for next year. There's still patchy snow on the ground, just enought to make it hard to spot them.

Reno Nevada, Nothing dropping here yet, We only have muleys out here, the whitetails haven't made it this far yet. I suppose its not impossible some day. Went out two weekends ago and found 6 from last year with a matching 4pt set. The last two years here they've started dropping @ mid-feb so its almost time. I still worry about going in to early and pushing the deer out of my hotspots. I have no compitition round here so if paitents pays off then I can wait..... pics to come soon

Well, Montana's been getting hammered for the past week with snow and i figured the deer would be starting to have a bit more trouble finding food and out feeding earlier in the evenings so i went out glassing. I got out there and there was a good group feeding at 4:00. Of the 14 deer, there were 4 bucks still holding and none, in this group anyway, that had shed yet.
