Ducks and a honker

So I was standing at the edge of the water freezing my %*&# off… I think I was watching a couple of seagulls fighting over something when all of a sudden it started raining mallards… mallards… mallards EVERYWHERE! I don’t know where they came from… There were so many that I didn’t know where to point my camera, and when I tried, my AF wouldn’t lock onto anything… not a single pic of them came out worthy of posting… It was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in my life!

I thought about clonning out the falling snow in front of the goose but decided to leave it.

These are my new favorite ducks. Can you hunt Buffleheads? I’ll take up duck hunting if you can. LOL, it would take a lot of these tiny little guys to make a meal… a couple would make an awesome mount.
