E.L.K., Inc. Cow Talk Elk Call


Has anybody used this call? I am unable to determine how it operates from the images I see on-line. I am a first time elk hunter looking to bag a cow elk this fall.

It's a bite and blow call. Adjust the rubber bands to the right tension and apply pressure with your teeth on the call as you blow. Decrease the pressure with your teeth and the call changes from a high pitch to a lower note. You can imitate the sounds of a cow or calf when you get the hang of it. I think it was one of the first cow calls made and revolutionized the industry. Before that everyone focused on bugling.
