EL vs. SLC Swaros

I am sure both are great, but what is the difference? Are the EL's worth the extra money? I know there is a difference in weight, but don't know anything else about them. Thanks in advance.

I've been told that the EL glass is similar to the glass they use with their HD (high definition) spotting scopes. The HD glass offers slightly more "true" color picture and is ideal for digi-scoping (photography).....I have EL's and an HD scope. I have friends that have SLC binoculars and honestly I can't tell the difference.

I agree with weekender21. I have both the EL's and the SLC's and really can't see a difference. I imagine in certain instances a guy may be able to tell a difference. The EL's are lighter and feel better in my hands but that's about it.

I think the main difference is 4 ounces and about $400. Can't go wrong with either!
