Feb. 10, 2002.  Found this right side antler on Fort Hunter Liggett.  We were trying to call in some late season coyotes, bobcat, and found this antler.  Almost all the elk were seen in the impact areas of 20 and 12.  The herd looks healthy, about 40 animals in one herd and 2's and 3's spotted near area 24.  The weather was very nice, clear and not windy, just a beautiful day watching animals.  Spotted 50 deer, 30 coyotes, 2 bobcat, 25 turkeys, a bazillion ground squirrels, ducks and no hunters.

Kewl pics and find canus latrans. I've never found an elk shed. I always wondered if anyone ever found those elk sheds on FHL.
