Came across a herd of elk while checking my game cams. Followed them to see if the cows have any calves yet, but none with the herd. Took a couple of pictures before I left. Didn't want to spook them with the cows ready to calve. The cows always leave the herd to have the calves then come back when the calves can keep up.
