Here in Arizona, several of us have sat wallows from a little after noon 'til about 2:30 or so (seems bulls like to cool off from the mid-day heat). I've pulled bulls towards my wallow several times with some occasional cow calls. I admit, though, I like to get down and go "mano a mano" on foot in the late afternoon into evening (being mobile when things can happen and change so quickly is a kick) ...
