I had a bull tag for Unit 11 here in Idaho and went out on opening day and it was raining and got good and soaked. Just saw cows and calves, and about 5 or 6 deer. Went again the next day but went to a different spot. We were west of Cottonwood Butte and South near the Salmon River breaks. I got a nice spike elk with 20 inch spikes. My friend hauled it into Lewiston where I hung it and skinned it in my son's shop. If you have a map of Idaho you should be able to find Cottonwood on the map between Lewiston and Grangeville and I was west of Cottonwood 7 or 8 miles give or take a mile or two.
