Enrollment for Walk-In Area Hunting and Hunter Management Areas Underway

CASPER --The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Private Lands Public Wildlife (PLPW) Access Program is currently signing up landowners for Walk-in Hunting and Hunter Management Areas. The deadline is April 30 for the fall 2003/spring 2004 hunting seasons.
If landowners want to sign up their lands or get further information on either program, contact the PLPW Access staff. Landowners receive a small monetary payment plus receive law enforcement and management of hunters in return for allowing public access to their lands.
If you are interested in either a Walk-in or Hunter Management Area, please contact Matt Buhler, state access coordinator at (307) 473-3428. Or contact the following regional coordinators: Northwest Wyoming - Dan Smith (307) 527-7322 ext. 27; Northeast Wyoming – Brian Olsen (307) 473-3437 or Southern Wyoming – Bart Morris (307) 745-5180 ext. 246. If you have already been contacted by a G&F representative and are contemplating enrollment, please return your application by April 30.
