I fly out to RSA & Zambia on Sunday for the first time. Cherry will be broken w/ Plains game & perhaps more.

I am comfortable w/ my PH & my Co Hunters at camp.

Any advice from anyone is appreciated.

Again, this is the first time for me & I can't sleep.

I am consumed w/ this.

Rule #1, your PH is #1. In order to have not only a successful trip, but a fun trip as well I would strongly suggest making friends and putting your trust in your PH. You are welcomed to let him/her know what animals you are interested in taking, and what is and what is not within your price range. After that, it's up to your PH to put you on your game and get you the quality shots you desire. Oh, by the way, have a good trip and have fun! Soak it up! I'll be going back, but not for a while.

Good luck in RSA & Zambia. We just got back from Zambia, we had a blast. There were 10 in our group; we took a total of 91 species. We were there for 26 days. As Peter V said trust your PH it’s his or her job to get the best trophies for you
